Amazon LTL Pallet Not Picked up for Over A Week
I have been going back and forth with Amazon and the shipping company they chose for my pallet for a week now. It all started when I had to change the pickup date from Friday the 9th to Monday the 12th. Everything on Amazon's side showed good to go. Tuesday, the 13th rolls around and my pallet has not been picked up. (Mind you I ship from my residential home, so I am home and have cameras so the truck never showed up). I called the freight company directly, and they told me Amazon has not even given them any info and nobody can pick it up. I keep communicating and they keep pushing it day after day. Now it's been over a week and the pallet is still to be picked up.
I also noticed that Amazon is giving rebates on expedited shipping; however, thanks to forums I realized how much of a scam that is. I may have to stick with smaller shipments since LTL is not working very well, and costing me more than to drop it off at my nearest UPS.
I could have just driven the pallet to the warehouse by now.
