Damaged by Carrier, Auto Returns by Amazon and Insurance Claims
The order was shipped with USPS ground advantage with $100 insurance and Damaged by carrier.
Buyer opens return request and Amazon gives them UPS label.
We get the item, take the picture and file claim with USPS because U-PIC doesn't provide insurance for Amazon even though the link show in order insurance by U-PIC.
We get letter from USPS to take the item to local PO for inspection along with letter we just received.
The supervisor at local PO denies because It was UPS and they got nothing to do with the damaged even when we showed them buyer email. They see return label as UPS and denied.
When filing case with UPS they said it was USPS. Anyone knows how to address this mess? Both Amazon and customer are happy they got their money back and we are running around.
Thanks for your help in advance!

Hello fellow Danny / @Seller_g4xNL1B0ckJXh- I appreciate you looking for some guidance on this here on forums. It sounds like USPS damaged the item en-route to the customer, and the product was then returned through UPS. While I am unaware of the USPS claim process, if they were the party that damaged the item, and you have insurance through them, continuing to work through that claim would be your best path forward, though I do apologize that your previous carrier claim was denied.
This section of the carrier insurance help page has some further resources on how to file with USPS or have a claim form mailed to you, in case that is useful though!
