No signature required for MCF?

Hi

We have only started using MCF recently, and already had 2 out of 10 orders customer saying not delivered.

Amazon Shipping tracking is showing as "Delivered". However, customer says it's not delivered after checking with neighbours etc..

Message from SS below:

"We’ve reviewed the tracking information and found that the order was delivered.

Multi-Channel Fulfilment doesn’t have a signature-required option for customer delivery, nor can we provide any signatures or proofs of delivery at this time"

So, there's 2 possible scenarios

1. Customer is lying - but we can't do anything, we'll have to refund as we have no POD

2. Amazon's delivery driver is lying/ left it in a bush or something.

In both cases, we as the seller have to eat it, even though there's no scenario that we are at fault (Amazon accept that it was dispatched etc..)

Has this always been MCF policy? Seems pretty bad, esp considering it's not a cheap option
