Deactivated my account

Please can someone assist me with my query.

I wanted to list multiple items and Amazon said that I had to switch from individual to a professional account, which I did. Then all of a sudden my account was deactivated. Ive had to provide ID documents (passport) and proof of address (utility bill) and my account is still not reactivated. I keep getting emails requesting more information but I have submitted everything they have asked for. I d not understand........

I think you mean Amazon have told you to sign up as a business not an individual?? They will need your business details too (proof of UTR from HMRC).

There is no such thing as a professional account, that is the just the name of one of the selling plans available . As above reply, you probably need a Business Seller Account (which is not the same as professional).

The Individual seller account is ONLY for selling off your own personal second-hand items such as books DVDs, CDs etc, and NOT NEW goods. If you are buying goods to sell on for profit then you must be registered with HMRC as self-employed, and have given Amazon your UTR.
