SDS keeps getting rejected - Compliance Media Validation Reason Code
We sell paints and are required to submit safety documentation in line with GPSR. However, Amazon keeps rejecting our SDS, citing:
"Document submitted doesn't match the self-selected document type chosen at the time of upload."
After thorough research, we’ve confirmed that we are:
- Submitting the correct document (Safety Data Sheet)
- Selecting the correct document type (Safety Information)
- Uploading in PDF format
- Using English (EN)—which is listed as an official EU language
Despite this, the rejection persists, and neither Seller Support nor our dedicated Account Manager has been able to resolve it.
Would appreciate any thoughts, ideas, or advice on how to move forward.
