Amazon KYC taking too long for verification
Hi , I may not be the only one here. I have been selling for over 3 years and I am going through KYC process since 22nd of November, I have around 75k to withdraw and its not moving anywhere. I know the issue and issue is , my primary contact name is not full and its without middle name, I want to amend it but I cant amend as its in review. I did all I can , I sent an email to MD email, opened a case and sent 2 emails to verification email as well. And its not moving anywhere, my withdraw amount is keep piling and soon I will have to close the account. I really do not know what to do, they do not treat sellers well, 3 weeks and still no update, how can we do business without payment? Does anyone know what to do next ? If it was customer , they would do all they can but for sellers , they dont want to know , I will misss out on busiest time of the year for selling if I have to change it to holiday once I run out of funds, its so simple and its taking forever. Seller discussion is full of this kind of horrible stories and still , they dont do anything ? What can we do legally to get money back?

i wouldn’t think its that - my name and my husbands name on our account doesn’t have our middle names yet they asked for our passports which do have our middle names on and we got through verification fine.
That said, the current verification process even for long term sellers is currently taking a couple of months.
Tip for the future - disburse your money as regularly as the button allows you !

I went into verification on 7th of nov and till to date no reply. I contacted them several times but they are not instered in replying. The Seller verification team has provided an absolutely shocking service. Why they want sellers to reply to customers within 24 hrs when they are well below the standards themselves.
I have nearly 20 thousand GBP stuck in disbursement and my company has started suffering from their actions.

If they have a workload, they need to hire more staff. It would be right to ask a company that has kept 20000 GBP of mine for the sake of verification.

Same here, Selling on Amazon since an year. Now they have stopped disbursement due to acctount verification, No reply since 3 weeks. Atleast they could have allowed us to diburse the payments if the verification process is taking longer than usual. Business is on risk now!

Same here, last time uploaded document on 2nd of December and since then no update. I think under primary contact I forgot to put middlename and that may be the issue.
I can sell but cant withdraw any funds and it has reached to now 85k.
I will have to stop selling soon as I will have no money to pay courrier charges. This is not good service from amazon, we require to respond within 24 hrs and they take weeks for simple issue.
I have stopped contacting seller support as each time I contact , I am on the back of the queue. Waiting is the only answer.

It’s been a month for me since I’ve been able to withdraw and 3 weeks since I had contact from Amazon but can still sell. I’ve put everything on holiday for almost a week waiting on Amazon clicking a button to verify my final document so i can release my money. Over 100k being held now, very stressful!
