Unable to update images on listing

For the past 6 weeks I have been unable to update any images on my 1 Amazon listing that has several child variations. Every time I contact the help desk I get a different answer on what to do from waiting to clear a backlog, improving my account health, improving standing on other EU stores, re-upload and save the photos, upload a new HMRC tax letter......nothing that has actually solved the problem though!

Anyone else manged to solve this problem? It would also be helpful to actually talk to a help desk operative who is English and can really understand my problem instead of just passing me around different departments.

Is there a way you can escalate a customer service complaint? The last online chat I had ended up with the operative just ending the conversation because he couldn't answer my questions!!

Did you get a solution to this? I am having the same problem. Some of the child variations update, others don't.

We are having the same problem.

We eventually were told that the issue was that (although we have only ever sold on Amazon UK) our account status in 6 other european contries was listed as unhealthy. We asked if we could delete our selling account in these countries and just leave the UK account (which is in perfect health), but were told that we could not do this until we rectified the problem.

The problem was that we had no up to date verification documentation on file in these countries, so we sent through up to date information. Because we trade as a partnership (registered with HMRC) and not a limited company our paperwork was declined in Germany!

We have now received an email saying that if we dont provide the correct information (which they are calling "a written agreement") our ability to receive dispursals will be withdrawn. Oddly enough we will still be allowed to sell, just not allowed to access our money! Unfortunately we have received no reply as yet to our question "what is this written agreement you need to see"

Just a warning really, at some point someone will probably give you the same advise I got and it could end up costing you dearly.

All because I wanted to change a photo!
