Tax Interview Error
I am having some issues with this error when setting up a C Corporation in the tax interview. I have copied all the details directly from the CP 575A, but I am still getting this error. Can someone please help me? I Asked Amazon and created a ticket, but they were no help. Thanks so much.
The Name and Tax ID provided do not match IRS records. Please review your previous inputs and ensure the
"Name" line is the correct name associated with the Tax ID provided.
You should complete the tax information for the individual or business that will report the income on a U.S. income tax return. If you are completing the tax interview on behalf of a single member LLC, generally the owner's Name and Tax ID would be provided.

I should also add I have called and verified with the IRS that the information I am putting in IS correct. This seems to be an issue on Amazon's side.

Hello @Seller_bGzjshwiL68rR,
Thanks for reaching out to us on the Seller Forums. I apologize for the frustration you've experienced here.
If you can provide your Seller Support case ID below I'd be happy to review your issue in more detail there and read through any correspondence provided to this point.
I also wanted to provide you with the U.S. Tax Interview FAQ help page and call out this specific section:
I received an error message when trying to complete the Tax Interview. What should I do?
The information provided during the Tax Interview needs to match the IRS records.
If you are completing the U.S. Tax Identity Information Interview as an individual, use the information that appears on your Social Security card.
If you are completing the information as a business, use the name that appears on the top line of the address on your CP575A notice from the IRS.
Misspelling your name, not including your middle initial or middle name, or entering an incorrect Tax Identification Number (TIN) may cause validation of your form to fail.
If the above does not help and this issue is still ongoing, I look forward to hearing from you soon with your case IDs.
Cheers,
Micah

I had the same issue. I fixed using the address exactly how was in the SS-4 letter and only in one line. For example, 5 keep the apartment in the same line. And if the city was like Beach but the used Bch use Bch.
I hope I could help you.

to avoid issues, in general, when setting up new account anywhere, the best way to make sure that everything matches: copy/paste instead of retyping. do not type anything in when creating an account. copy information from an existing account, paste into a new account.
log into an account with existing information. copy. paste into new account creation page or wherever you need to change information.
only retype the FIRST time something is changed, like when you move, otherwise, COPY/PASTE.
for the IRS pdf and Amazon, you can either download a pdf editor or use one of the free online pdf editors. "edit" the pdf (but not really). you have to be using the pdf in an editor to select the text, then COPY text, and PASTE it into Amazon. That way it is EXACTLY THE SAME.
and make sure you don't save any changes to your pdf. just close the editor or browser without saving when done. next time you need to enter that information into another website, you can copy information from your amazon account into the new account.
