Customer Reviews product on Seller Central will be fully deprecated on September 30, 2025
So, the Customer Reviews page is being discontinued in favour of Voice Of The Customer.
I find VOTC useless. I have a couple of "Very Poor" listings because of Negative Customer Experience (NCX), but it doesn't give any useful feedback. Reviews usually (but not always) give you some information you can work with.
Unless I'm missing something, VOTC doesn't tell me anything about why the customer had a negative experience.

I just saw this message at the top of the customer's review page. I agree the VOTC doesn't help understand the issue and it doesn't give us any opportunity to fix it. Amazon took away our ability to comment on a customer review a years ago. At least with customer reviews we have been able to attempt to send a message to an upset customer to offer a refund or offer a solution - only if the customer has not opted out of receiving messages. Now they're removing this option. What are we supposed to do to help our customers who may be using a product incorrectly or may simply need help with an exchange if we cannot reach out to them?

The majority of negatives on VOC from customers is usually too big or too small - even though I put the size in the titles. I can't do anymore as I can't put sizes on the main image (I do on the 2nd but that doesn't help).
Amazon also count 'wrong colour' as a negative even though the image is correct, a image of the pantone chart number still doesn't help - if it doesn't match exactly to what the buyer needs then I can do anything else. It's online shopping - you inspect then return if it's no good. You shouldn't be afraid of punishments.
Honestly, between the risk of 'frequently returned' icons and this - it's getting harder and harder to trade here :(

I've also just seen this! Will be interesting to know what Amazon is going to do with all the reviews sellers have paid out for via their Vine Program! Because some have put a lot of money into obtaining those reviews, and I they would be pretty annoyed if all that money went down the drain surely?

How many actually write a decent review though.
Already being asked too often for feedbacks.
Amz probably know many are not verified and some have 100's in a few days of selling a new item!!!
Other than if Vine, or Verified, they should not be allowed. Also, only count after say 10+ reviews. As it is going, then I guess we will see what will happen with existing reviews, the Vine Programe, etc.

VOTC is ridiculous; I'm sure some customers choose a negative customer exp. drop-down because they're worried they won't be refunded otherwise. Most of the comments are pointless (i.e. related to size which is explicitly mentioned), change of heart, or no comment at all.
