Exclusive ASINS being sold by unauthorized sellers

How do we stop unauthorized sellers from latching on to our listings? All of our ASINS are exclusive to our brand.

We are also Brand Registered.

Thank you!

I would strongly suggest not consulting a moderator or any Amazon employee.

Their argument will be that Amazon is a free market and sellers can freely list on Amazon listings if they have authentic product. The term I use for the sellers you are describing is "Grey Market Sellers".

I would strongly suggest investigating your own distribution practices so these grey market sellers are unable to get your product and list it on Amazon.

I would also strongly advise against sending NDA's....as its very common for grey market sellers to just not respond to NDA's.

You'll have to lock down your supply chain.

We do test purchases to ensure the product is authentic. If its not we create a case in brand management and that boots the seller off the listing.

Aside from that Amazon only requires that the product be authentic for reseller to list a brand.

Of course some bigger brands like Pokemon, Nike, Playstation, Nintendo etc get additional protections as well as high counterfiet items like Chanel.

But as far as the rank and file small brands out there, Amazon has stated they will not manage a brands supply chain for them

For now, you can report an IP violation (for us it was for our images that we had not licensed to anyone else). https://brandregistry.amazon.com/brand/report-a-violation

For the future, register for Transparency (under "Brands" in Seller Dashboard menu). This worked for us. It prevents anyone on Amazon anywhere in the world (mostly) from selling your stuff without permission.

One other thing to suggest. When you use the "Report a Violation Tool" it qualifies you to apply for "Project Zero" (you'll need to look that one up). I have not yet done this...but it seems that if you want any semblance of security on Amazon, this seems to be your only option.

This doesn't work as the other sellers have latched onto the original listings, which is correct for the image. Anytime you upload an image to Amazon, they own the image, not you. Read the terms and conditions.

If you are Brand Registered, you should enroll into project zero.

This allows you to take counterfeit sellers offline immediately.

You have to report them to Amazon. Expect Amazon to claim they can sell products under your brand so be sure to tell them you do not wholesale to them. I had a seller in China try to take one of my listings and each time he was removed, Amazon let him back. I demanded they lock my brand registered brand from any sellers without approval from me and poitned out that should have been the position from day 1. After a few tickets and a moderator's help, I have not had a problem for a while. ALL brand registered brands should require approval from the owner prior to listings, but that is not Amazon's default unless we request it (so I learned).

It appears that you are the sole seller for all of your listings. However, I've noticed that your brand name is not visibly associated with any of the products you offer. Based on my experience, to have the ability to exclude other sellers from your branded listings, it would be advisable to update all your products to include your brand name.
