Customer wants to provide their own next day air label. Is this allowed?

Customer wants to provide their own next day air label. Is this allowed? I am FBM btw so this wouldn't be a logistics issue, just making sure its not some kind of policy violation. I didn't know if this is allowed or could get me in trouble and figured id ask before agreeing. I couldn't find anything online about this. Thanks in advance.

I don't think there is any issue with this except for not having INR protection in the event the buyer claims they didn't receive it.

In addition to what @Seller_DdmPiA1p1S2Wu has noted, you lose ALL control by doing that. There is absolutely nothing to prevent the 'buyer' from changing the destination of the delivery since THEY own the account and can tell the shipper whatever they want.

Additionally, there is the question of whether Amazon will recognize the shipper and number for proof that you actually shipped the merchandise.

To me, if it isn't forbidden by Amazon it SHOULD BE. We surrender almost everything to Amazon. Ask yourself why the buyer didn't just order expedited shipping from you in the first place (if you offer it).

All I see is piling on extra risk.

I wouldn't do it unless you are 100% sure it is not a scam. Depends on the cost too, I mean if it is under 15.00 sure 150? I don't know.

I know you can add your own FBM shipping to any order, "confirm shipment" button, but as others have said you lose A-Z coverage.

Just keep in mind you have zero protection. It won't matter if tracking shows delivery and says Jeff Bezos himself holding hands with Andy Jazzy delivered it, if the buyer says they did not receive it you will be forced to refund in full. This is one of the older scams that pro scammers use. If it's a product you can afford to lose and reimburse for do it. I never would on Amazon. if it was on my own website, sure because if tracking shows delivery there is no refund.

I see a chargeback coming, a mark on your account. only reason a customer would want to do that, is something fishy is afoot. Example would be stolen credit card, wanting the item sent to somewhere else or they be in control of knowing when it arrives to steal it, just a bunch of stuff you do not want to be involved with. Amazon has some of the fastest shipping available online to begin with.

It may be allowed but you should not accept it. Customers may cancel it, forward it, etc. and you have no control over it. Any A-Z claims will be lost.
