Credit Card Invalid
I cannot access my business account because I am getting the message 'credit card invalid'. My credit card was used and charged by Amazon up to July 2023. It is a valid credit card, active, can be charged in US currency, all the info is correct as I checked it many times. I also tried 2 other credit cards and I am still getting the same message 'credit card invalid'. Who can assist with this?
Does Amazon have any blocks for any countries outside the US?

A valid credit card can accept international charges, charges interest and bills you.

Does the name on the credit card match EXACTLY the "Legal Entity" name in your account settings?

Thank you for reaching out. This is a very common issue among new sellers when signing up with Amazon. Amazon requires a real credit card, so not a debit or pre-paid card. Your financial institution may only allow your credit card to be used in certain countries. As a result, you may see the same credit card being honored by Amazon in some of our stores, but not in others. When you register in Amazon as a seller, it is necessary to enter an internationally chargeable credit card with a valid billing address located in an eligible country. Reach out to your financial institution to determine the countries your card is eligible to be used in. You can use different credit cards in various Amazon stores. For the list of accepted credit cards, go to Bank account and credit card information for your seller account.
Note: We do not accept alternative charge methods, such as prepaid credit cards, gift certificates, checks, or online payment systems like PayPal.
We accept the following credit cards:
- American Express
- Diners Club
- Discover
- JCB
- MasterCard
- Visa
