Account suspended by Unknown ASIN
Hi, my account received no Intellectual Property complaints and we can not find the ASIN given in the notification message.
Can anyone encounter this? it's unacceptable.
Dear Seller,
Your Amazon seller account has been deactivated. Your listings have been removed. Funds will not be transferred to you but will stay in your account for up to 90 days while we work with you to address this issue. Please ship any open orders to avoid further impact to your account.
Why did this happen?
We have taken this measure because one or more of your product listings are in violation of Amazon’s Intellectual Property Policy (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/external/201361070).

Hello @Seller_SD3C7NjDFvuk8,
Thank you for utilizing the Seller Forums.
I understand your account was deactivated due to intellectual property infringement and you are unsure of the product in question.
Are you the only person who has ever operated your selling account? Could it have been someone else who might have listed or created this ASIN?
I suggest checking past orders and FBA shipments to see if this item was even accidentally added to your inventory.
If you are able to find anything or have case IDs relevant to this topic, please do not hesitate to reply back.
All the best,
Stevie.

Hello @Seller_SD3C7NjDFvuk8,
Thank you for following up on the situation and offering more details surrounding the deactivation.
We just check our past orders, yes we found one order regarding this ASIN at our Amazon.ca Site.
Now we remembered that we have listed this product but we found it may be a intellectual property product, so we deleted it.
As you mentioned, you were able to identify the situation but advised that you were able to identify a potential concern with intellectual properties.
We found we mistakely listed a suspended intellectual property product and we have deleted it immediatly before any complaints, and we also cancelled it and didn't generate any profit.
So my question is does Amazon also suspend my account for something like discontinuance of crime? does Amazon didn't allow any mistake please? Please know that we deleted this ASIN before and complaints and gained none profit of it.
So you are aware, simply listing a product without proper sourcing or authorization is a violation. These situations do not required the sale of the product. As you mentioned there was a sale of the product, although cancelled, it was still listed and sold. This would require a valid invoice for the listing product and brand, we may also request a letter of authorization if there was any prior approval issued directly from the brand or rights owner.
Invoices need to meet our specific requirements listed in our responsible sourcing help page:
- Copies of invoices, receipts or other similar documents that demonstrate where your products are produced or manufactured
- These documents:
- Should reflect the sales volume of your product across all Amazon marketplaces in the last 365 days
- Should demonstrate your product’s full supply chain
- Should include contact information for the supplier(s) and the original manufacturer. We may contact suppliers or manufacturers to verify the documents
- Your documents should be able to trace your products to the original manufacturer even if you did not purchase them directly from the xoriginal manufacturer. This may require requesting additional invoices or supply chain documentation from your supplier if you are not sourcing directly from the manufacturer.
- You may remove pricing information, but the rest of the document must be visible to enable adequate review of the documents you provide. For ease of our review, you may highlight or circle the ASIN(s) under review.
Typically with these situations, if documentation or LOA are not available, the only path remaining is to resolve the issue externally with the rights owner. If the brand or rights owner submits a retraction directly to amazon removing their complaint, this will resolve the current situation. If we cannot confirm retraction, or the above mentioned documentation, the account will not be eligible for reactivation.

Hello @Seller_SD3C7NjDFvuk8,
I appreciate your following up on the situation.
as we stated, we mistakely listed the product and have no documentation or LOA you request above.
The fact is we just listed and deleted this product after we found we are not authorized to sell it.
And, you mentioned that the only way to solve this is to ask rights owner to submit a retraction to remove theri complaint, but we didn't receive any of this complaints.
As you mentioned there is no complaint ID from a rights owner to retract, thus this would not be a valid resolution for your current situation. This implies that we can only accept invoices and or a letter of authorization. If these documents do not exist the account will remain deactivated as these are the only paths provided in this situation.

Hello @Seller_SD3C7NjDFvuk8,
I am responding here in this thread as promised, in regards to your other post.
"I submitted an appeal at 4-26-2024, and today is 6-5-2024, more than a month."
I see that you have concerns with the amount of time it is taking to review your appeal.
Due to the volume of submissions, this may prolong appeal review and delay resolution times. If the requested documents have not been submitted, we cannot guarantee that this issue will be resolved or that you will receive a follow-up notification after the review is completed.
You mentioned that you do not have invoices or an LOA for the affected ASIN. What information did you submit in your appeal? An appeal alone without the requested documents will not resolve this concern.
I look forward to your reply.
Wishing you the best,
LeviDylan
