Problem Updating Credit Card Details - locked out of account for 6 days now...

Hi all,

Selling with no major issues for 10 years. Winston at Amazon did help me with a minor disbursement issue a few years back but since then things have been relatively smooth.

Recently, I was put on to the dreaded DD+7 - I took the hit on my cash flow and waited patiently. Last week (wednesday 18th Sep) my 1st disbursement was due to be automated where I had a physical balance to send to my bank.

I received the usual email notification "your payment is on it's way" which was swiftly followed by another email asking me to update my credit card. To be honest, pretty normal stuff, if not a pain in the neck!

I quickly entered my card details (basically re-verified the original card) and watched the confirmation appear on screen. £1.00 taken from my account and I thought all was well.

Panic set in as nothing changed. Still locked out and still asking for updated CC details.

Now it gets a little tricky. I moved a few months ago and my suspicion was I my not have updated certain addresses. So I went back, verified a card that I had previously used, changed the billing address and got confirmations for each and every Amazon selling account (9 in total). Just to wait 24hrs-48hrs, knowing deep down that something still wasn't right; (with lots of previous experience the verification of CC process usually only takes a few minutes)

3 days later still no access. I contact seller support. Case passed to verification team. Reply today stating that the reason my card is declined is becasue it is pre-paid. Simply untrue. I have alwasy used a debit card on Amazon and never with any issues until now.

So is my card being recognised as something it is not? Am I only able to use a Credit Card now? None of this makes sense to me now...

I really don't know where to turn with this. Can any mod step in here? I've been a very good boy :)

According to your inquiry, I have a look and can confirm debit cards are still an option for charge method.

Have a look on this help page with the requirements needed for debit/credit card to be part of charge method.
