How are we losing the buy box to Amazon when they are quoting dispatch in 5-6 months and we have stock?
We recently started selling a new product (ASIN B094Y6JFXT) which Amazon were also advertising, but clearly had no stock as their delivery estimate was sometime in December stating "usually dispatched in 6-7 months". When we added this product, Amazon were selling for £24.99 which is not surprisingly cheap, so we opted to position our price slightly higher at £25.99 as logic says that we would still win the buy box as we had stock and offer "free" delivery in 2-3 days.
WRONG
Amazon retained the Buy Box and then about 2 weeks later, drop their advertised price to £17.50 yet still have no stock to dispatch for 6-7 months and we have plenty sat on our shelves.
This is complete lunacy, but I have no idea what (if anything) we can do about it?
