Seller Verification Primary contact bank statement
We are very confused. We are a US based company trying to get our US/Canada stores reactivated.
Our primary contact is in Canada and they are asking him to give his passport, residential address and proof of residential address - like a bank statement.
I believe that the bank statement should be his personal one that proves he lives where he live.
He thinks it should be our corporate statement but then that would be a USA address.
Anyone know for sure?

Si I take it this is not a "single member LLC" then.
Is the account registered as a business? They don't usually verify a person if the account is for a business.
That being said, lots of sellers with US Amazon accounts reside in other countries. So that is no issue. That's where most of the drop shippers sit, buying from American stores, up charging and selling it back to "dumb Americans", filling their bank accounts and Amazon's

Hi @Seller_qidxgT0WUzOGI
Connor from Amazon here, to reactive your seller account you need to provide proof of residential address that has to match what you have provided on your seller profile.
So if you residential address is in the US, then proof of that needs to be uploaded for our partner team to review.
Not sure who is your primary contact, is that the account holder? Are you an account manager?
Passport or government issued ID is also used to verify the account owner's identity, that is a requirement for all seller accounts.
More information about the verification process is outlined in this help page:
