Product in FC processing for more than a month

@Danny_Amazon (I am tagging Danny because I am out of solution to this problem)

Hello everyone, so I shipped a new product to FBA fullfilment centers, I received the product a month ago, but it was always under "FC Processing" and Out of Stock, we contacted support multiple times, we were told to wait for 18 days after the product is received so it can be available and of course nothing changed, then we were told that the issue was escalated and to wait for 5 days, the product is still not actif, and we reached out once again, and this was their final resolution "These units are reserved because they aren't required to fulfill immediate customer demand at this time."

This is the first shipment for this product, without that inventory we are unable to launch it, so we are stuck and we tried to contact the support team and they opened another case but I think they will just give us the same answer again, Case ID: 15828824521

If anyone can help, we would really appreciate it, it's even more frustrating when you realize that you can't do nothing about it on our end.

That's a bologna answer. inventory doesn't go into reserved status just because no one has purchased them. They should be in available inventory.

One thing to look at is your launch date. Make sure it's not a future date -- that would make Amazon not show your product(s) to potential customers.

Just wait until they tell you that 75% of the shipment wasn't there after 2 months. That's happened to me twice recently...

I Have had 4 units stuck in reserved FC processing for over a year maybe 2 by now and the only response is please wait while there transferred, and i link cases back month ago stating the same. CS cannot or will not understand they are Poof gone somewhere, Did the truck catch fire, lost in route, damaged, they will never show up again I'm sure but there sitting pending still. I just want them removed at this point let alone reimbursed

"But please wait"

they are stealing your inventory, they have lost several thousand dollars of my inventory. I wrote an email to the POS Ceo Andy Jassy the f...coward had his assistant send me a link to the FAQs section. I am filing everyday a report to each State General's Attorneys office in the U.S> so far I have filed a complaint in 3 states, the FTC, the department of commerce, I wrote to my Governor, the Governor of Seattle. Tomorrow I am writing a letter to the office of the President . These f... POS thieves and crooks are getting away with crime. Everyday they continue to lie to me about the inventory they stole from me I will file another report with another state. I will file a small claim in the Florida Court System.

We are going throught the same issues- this makes it very diffiuclt to do business and account for inventory as it does not even show up as transferring or processing- instead it just says out of stock. We as a company will not send inventory to FBA until this is resolved.

We are going FBM so we have more control

This is a consistent problem since 2023 and through 2024 so far. @SEAmod@Danny_Amazon@Bryce_Amazon@TaylorR_Amazon this is a serious topic for you to address at Accelerate!

We are a Brand Manager with over 13 years with FBA and have had inventory stuck in FC PROCESSING since JANUARY 2024...EIGHT MONTHS so far just for 2024 incident. It took us SIX MONTHS to get a similar problem resolved in 2023. Amazon gives you recommendations as to how much inventory to send in, but beware, because it may be too much and they just want to charge you storage since they have plenty of vacant warehouse space. We pay more now to ship because of inventory placement fees and cost of shipping labels that are very far away and yet the receiving times at so many of these Amazon facilities has become abysmal!

You must be persistent. Operating on Amazon FBA (or even FBM) is not for the faint of heart. Amazon does not have the seller's best interest in mind as their mission. And even though we are hounded to use AWD now, stay away from that because there are plenty of nightmare stories with AWD.

To further complicate matters, the SKUs that have inventory stuck in FC PROCESSING, we were told by seller support to let them run out so that Amazon's algorithm will prompt movement from FC PROCESSING to AVAILABLE. Guess what, it doesn't work. So we did as advised, are now being charged low inventory fees as well as storage fees for what's been stuck in FC PROCESSING for EIGHT months. It's truly entrapment and criminal on Amazon's part. Amazon's many algorithms DO NOT "TALK" TO EACHOTHER PROPERLY!

We keep opening cases in Seller Support and they get closed with no resolution. We have a moderator on here who can't seem to get the problem resolved FOR MONTHS either. We have also said, just ship the inventory back to us, but no response from Amazon on that.

You must keep following up with seller support or if you're lucky enough to get a moderator here who can help you. Be persistent!

Please update how this gets resolved. Personally, I've found that things consistently get stuck in processing for 2-8 weeks, but then resolve themselves. Maybe I've just been lucky so far, but this is my experience.
