Help listing new book using FBA
Hi!
Our church recently created a publishing entity under which we've released our first book. I've been scouring the information on seller central to try and find out how to list it and fulfill using FBA, but having trouble finding (and understanding) what I've seen. Our books were produced locally and already have an ISBN and barcode printed on them which we purchased from Bowker.
When I try to prepare my shipment for FBA and choose Manufacturer Barcode, I get "This SKU is not eligible to use manufacturer barcode for tracking" I did read under FBA virtual tracking that books weren't eligible, but I was hoping I misread it. I'd hate to have to put labels on all of the books we ship. Am I missing something? ANY help would be appreciated!

I am not sure from your post if you were able to create the listing?
Assuming the listing was successfully created -- you do need to apply FNSKU label and it must not be applied directly to the book as that creates a flaw.
The book needs to be protected anyway -- protected for the (mis)handling in the warehouse and for the unprotected journey to the buyer. However you decide to protect the book; that FNSKU label goes on the outside of that. You must not send "naked" books to the Amazon warehouse.
