They may be putting a hold on it, to allow for anyrecent orders that might still give rise to claims from customers. What exactly did they say when you tried to close the account?

If you have sold a company ie ltd, then the account needs to be transferred as you no longer own the company.
If another account is opened in the same name, then it will be linked to the current one.

If the account is suspended and a ltd, then the new owner is going have a big problem if they want to sell on here.

Hello @Nordix_FR,

I can understand from your post that you wish to close your selling account as you have sold your company.

However, if your account is currently in an inactive status and if you take no further action on your account, it will remain inactive.

To request for a proper closure, you will first need to get your account activated. Once it is active, you can contact our seller support team for account termination.

If you wish to appeal the deactivation of your account, please share the notification you received and we will help you with the path to appeal.

Regards!
Elena
