Does Amazon's inhouse FBA Prep service box your item for you??
I am working on selling my first product on amazon. It is essentially a large (50"x30"x11"), lightweight plastic wedge, 2 per a selling unit / box. i would like to ship ship my product from my supplier to amazon via pallet. The product will be unboxed and nested upon itself, wrapped with shrink wrap.
My question is this: I want to know if Amazon "FBA prep service" (the one listed when filling out the shipping plan) will box this product for me, everything i have read on the amazon pages so far has been very ambiguous on this. If yes, how do i tell them i need 2 wedges per a box with a foam sheet between them? I haven't seen a prep plan or anything available to discuss boxing requirements / needs.

I would suggest that don't trust Amazon's prep service if you have delicate products which can break while transporting.
Do it yourself!!

Hello @Seller_WJdw78GvNZ0pL, each unit must be contained within a single secure package upon arrival to the fulfillment center. Amazon does not accept units that require multi-piece assembly. So if you are selling two items as one unit, they should be packaged together before you send them to Amazon.
