being ripped off by amazon seller!
Last year I set up with amazon seller. After quite a few months I realised this wasn't for me. I requested my stock be sent back to me and I closed my account in September 2023. Yesterday I had £30.01 taken from my personal bank account for a subscription fee. This is the first payment that had been taken in 7 months. when I rang to get a refund they point blank refused. I was told I have to close my account to not be charged again. I put in a request to close my account and had an email this morning telling me I still had FBA stock. I checked my FBA inventory to see that 1 item was still with FBA. Has anyone else had them keeping stock just so they can charge you? I have also searched amazon for my 1 product and it is not showing anywhere on the website!

Downgrade your account to the individual plan so you are not charged the monthly fee, by going to Account Info > Downgrade Account
Create a removal order for the 1 item you have in the Amazon warehouse.
Close your account yourself by going to Account Info > Account Management > Close Account

Could the single item left be a return after you removed the remaining stock? As a new seller, there may have been a 6 months free incentive, so on the 7th month you were charged the first of the monthly professional plan fee. As @Seller_hOZNPw7G8FIjl said, the first thing to do is downgrade your selling plan to individual to stop further monthly fees. If you do this, you don't have to close your account to stop the monthly fees, but will be charged a bit more in referral fess if you sell something.
