Can't add a product - new

I am new to selling but I have been trying to list items for almost a month now and have spoken to the 'help' team multiple times with no one actually assisting, i'm hoping someone on here can help.

I do not have a brand name or a product ID so am listing items as 'Generic', I applied and got approved a GTIN exemption (this was 14 days ago) but every time I go to add a product it still flags the Product ID saying I need to put it in, if I click 'I don't have a Product ID' it says I need to apply for a GTIN Exemption...

Today I started a new listing, hoping it would work, put in the details and the product ID section wasn't highlighted, then a pop up window said to acknowledge that the GTIN exemption was approved. I thought great! its fixed. Went about filling in all the other details and clicked 'submit', again it flagged the product ID section and said I needed to apply for an exemption... even though it knew I had one a few moments ago.

Please can someone assist me?

Thanks for your post on the Forums.

I see you've got a GTIN Exemption for the product category, which is great.

Have you tried initiating the product creation directly on the View Selling Applications page directly?

Once your request status is marked as Approved, you should find the "List Products" option. Give it a try and keep us updated on how it goes.
