Hello @Seller_LropkjlZr1ytx. Thanks for asking about the ongoing updates to FBA fees. These updates include both decreases and increases to fees.

2024 FBA inbound placement service fee

The above help page includes the available information on FBA inbound placement service. Not all shipments qualify for the "split" options.

"The availability of these inbound placement options is based on several factors, including the product types and quantities that you have in your shipping plan, your existing inventory levels across our network, and the location of customer demand."

We are continuing to share seller questions about these updates with our partner team. I will provide more details about what shipping plans qualify for Partial- or Amazon-Optimized shipment splits if and when that information becomes available.

As previously mentioned in the fee change announcement, changes are being made to enable more efficient use of the Amazon network: "Amazon will begin charging separately for inbound and outbound activities. The lower outbound fees go live on April 15th, the same day the first inbound placement fees will be charged:

On average, we will decrease FBA fulfillment fee rates for standard-sized products by $0.20 per unit and for Large Bulky-sized products by $0.61 per unit. Products priced below $10 will continue to have an additional $0.77 discount on per-unit fees."

Please check these resources, and let me know if you have more questions.

Apparently Amazon isn't quite profitable enough and they need to gouge their sellers even more than they already are. We are experiencing the same issue.

We used to ship to Amazon for about 9 cents a unit, now it's about 87 cents per unit including all their fees for our $19 product.

I am not getting inbound placement since I split shipment in 4 separated boxes but I notice I am paying 80% more on shipping to FBA facilities. I just want to know if this is just me or everyone is getting this high shipments..
