Negative Feedback regarding Shipping Time to FL during a Hurricane
The buyer left negative feedback which was not justified regarding the shipping time frame for this order. It should be removed. We shipped the item within 24 hours, then a hurricane struck FL (where the buyer resided) and the USPS stopped deliveries until it was allowed to start deliveries. Sad how Amazon allows disrespectful buyers to complain about shipping time frames when a natural disaster strikes a state. The seller followed all of Amazon's communication rules. The buyer received the package and was issued a full refund. Now our account health is being lowered for something that was not our fault or in our control.

Amazon doesn't care about natural disasters. You are supposed to put your account on vacation mode ahead of the storm as a precaution so that you don't have this problem. It sucks but that is how Amazon unfortunately works.

If you bought shipping through Amazon, and shipped on time, then Amazon is supposed to not ding you for things like this. In that case, open a case, post the number here, and tag a mod (no rush; nothing would happen before monday).

I think you missed the fact that it was the CUSTOMER, not the seller, located in the affected area. Sure, if you are likely to get hit, then go on vacation; but you can't expect every seller in the country to go on vacation mode because a storm is hitting Florida or Texas.
Amazon should not penalize for situations like this, regardless of where you bought shipping. And I thought there was some announcement to that effect a couple of weeks ago. But as usual, Amazon can screw up even the simplest of things.

Hello @Seller_dNRiCT7uhHzDh
Thanks for contacting Amazon Forums. Below I share a thread where you can see the location exceptions that apply for seller-fulfilled orders that were shipped from the affected regions. Amazon is adding promise extensions to the delivery dates customers see to ensure delivery expectations reflect possible delays. Visit this thread for more information:
