Which sales report to use for accounting and Profit and Loss

Hi,

I’m using the monthly summary report and using the income line to report my Inc VAT sales on my own set of accounts.

Is this the right thing to do? As when I look at the sale dashboard the ordered product sales are a lot higher.

I don’t want to be understating my sales number in my accounts.
