Sudden change to browse nodes for products that I have been selling on Amazon for 5-6 years! Amazon Seller Support is not responding to my case.

I have been selling the same product but different designs for the past 5-6 years and all of a sudden, I don't have a seller rank. When I reached out to Seller Support, they informed me that the browse node is incorrect. After getting in contact with the category team last week, they said they changed. But it's been almost a week and still no reply. Please help as my sales have been down due to this issue.

I've had the same issue, been fighting it for months, updated browse nodes, but still no rank on products we know are top 50 within the category. Really frustrating. Wish someone at Amazon Support could actually help us!

I had the same problem of my changes never being processed for 6 months and filing cases. Went the "call me back" method and got a representative that resolved the issue. She asked me what category (s) I wanted the product listed in and submitted them for me....it worked! Never had to do this before. Sales are better!

Same issue. The bots don't seem to sleep. Or, it is job security for restless Amazon employees. Or, new supervisors want to put their mark on things. All brands in a particular category of garden tools was changed to soil. I opened 13 cases a couple weeks ago. All are resolved but 2, and still working them. I was repeatedly told the new browse node was "the best selling experience for customers".

Then, the next person handling would again send to an "internal team" and they would put it back where it was.

Only Amazon can find so many ways to kill sellers time needlessly. And, train employees to handle things six different ways. But, constantly changing things and creating problems.

Sometimes I think Amazon built "harassing sellers every so many weeks" into the bots program? Think about it. It's been a pattern for a while now.

A few weeks ago, for a different brand, I was told I was not a US seller and so could not sell in a particular category. At least they didn't shut down the listings like in the past while this resolved. I've been selling for years on Amazon and never lived outside the US. But it took a few weeks for them to write back only to say, "IF you are a US resident, you can continue to sell in the category." This was right after the HUGE INFORM ACT ordeal where our locations were thoroughly confirmed ad nauseum.

How it is.

I encountered a similar problem earlier this year when my ASIN was moved from the Home and Kitchen category to Art, Craft & Sewing. I attempted to seek assistance from Amazon to revert this change, but I received an automated response from seller support, which unfortunately did not address my issue. I didn't have any luck with that approach. However, there was a significant improvement in the ASIN's Best Sellers Rank (BSR). Considering that my product is seasonal, specifically tailored for Christmas, I'm unsure whether this change will have a positive or negative impact on my sales. Has anyone had a positive experience with such changes?

You will have to figure out what you need to do to get the sales back up. CS will not help you no matter how many emails you send. Use to be after about six emails I could get help. Not now. I have had the same issues. The only way for me to fix it was to delete it and start over. Sucks since I lose all the sales stats but it is probably the only way. CS treats the bots like god and I have found there is no way to get help when it has wrongly changed something.

Amazon is relying more & more on BOTS & A.I.

They change things (not always correctly) and it is very difficult to get the problem fixed.

I brought it up over a year ago here:
