Product approval to sell requirements question

I want to sell an item from Funko POP on Amazon. e.g.: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08T6QPS8Z

However I need approval to sell, and one of the requirements is:
At least 1 purchase invoice for products from a manufacturer or distributor

So does purchasing the product from their own site count as a purchase invoice from a manufacturer?

As Funko POP is the manufacturer of their own product?

I don’t think so, as if you were buying from the Funko website, that would I imagine class as a retail purchase so you wouldn’t even be able to sell it as new anyway on amazon.

Short answer no.

You maybe able to sell the item as used / 2nd hand as that’s what Amazon would class it as.

To sell new on amazon you do need to purchase direct from the manufacturer or authorised supplier.
Which to gain authorisation a formal invoice from the above normally for 10 units or more.

Thank you for the answers. Just had one more question :slight_smile:

If I buy from a wholesaler {Moderator Edit (Jessica) URL removed}

Would this meet the requirement?

At least 1 purchase invoice for products from a manufacturer or distributor
