Can't Close Account

I am so frustrated and in dire need of some help.

My seller account is inactive and I’ve decided to close it. However when I click the close button, I am redirected to a support page.

After contacting performance support (stating clearly that I want to close my account), I received an automatic e-mail telling me that the problem was technical and to contact seller support.

I contacted seller support who replied saying the issue was NON technical and to contact performance support.

No matter what I try, I keep getting automated e-mails bouncing me around.

I’m paralyzed and don’t seem to be able to take any action.

Can anyone offer some advice on how to proceed?

Is there any money owed to Amazon on the account - outstanding fees possibly.?

If there are any processed sales and transactions within the last 90days, you won’t be able to close your account.

There are no sales processed recently and the account is essentially dead.

I am owed money from the account from a sale over 4 months ago but it’s a measly 18 euro and i have no interest in it for the hassle thats involved.

What is infuriating is that I was contacted by support via phone who told me that to unlock my account (and subsequently close it) I would have to redo my verification

So i re-uploaded my documents and was approved, but the account is still locked and i have no number to contact the support agent who contacted me.

Does anyone happen to have a link to it as they’re not replying to my emails.

Amazon Support finally replied to an e-mail and said they can’t talk to me because it didn’t come from the same e-mail that is registered to the account.

I’ve checked it multiple times, they are the same e-mail.

Does anyone know a contact number for Amazon Seller UK Support so that I can get a human to resolve this

Multiple calls, multiple emails, multiple bounces and a nice fat phone bill from having to make international phone calls.

My account is still open and I’m still paying fees. They refuse to close it and keep promising callbacks which never happen.

Never do business with Amazon. They will destroy you.

Instruct your Bank and/or card issuer to reject all requests for funds from ALL Amazon financial bodies. Some may make you cancel your card and issue a new one, but it will stop Amazon getting any more money out of you.
