10 ASINs All of a Sudden No Longer Featured Offer

ASINs Impacted: B0BZQCV6JT; B0BSMTXGW6; B0BSMDKKLH; B09TPYY7B7; B09TPWSFRN; B09TQ135TX; B09TPZMC5N; B09TPVVV1X; B09TPZ6LTS; B09TPVPNW7

We are brand owner on all the above ASINs. For some reason none of these items are the featured offer nor are they showing an "add to cart" or "buy now" button on the detail pages. We have excellent customer service, offer under 24 hour ship times, and have competitive pricing. Why are all these ASINs not showing up with any "buy" buttons available and as the featured offer? We're spending on advertising these ASINs and they're not converting because they don't have a buy button visible and people don't click the "see all buying options" button.

Can someone at Amazon please help? @Glenn_Amazon@Rose_Amazon@Roberto_Amazon@Tatiana_Amazon@Veronica_Amazon

Thank you!

First of all, the tabs you mentioned are not displayed on your own products because you cannot buy from yourself. Have a friend look at the items on a different computed and see if they can buy.

There are multiple sellers on your listing/s with one offer (likely you) significantly lower than the rest.

If you add new offer to the listing with drastically different price (either much higher or much lower) than historically tracked price on Amazon, the algorithm will remove buybox button and featured offer.

Adjust your price to what price has been over time and then adjust it incrementally until you hit the threshold leading to removal of buybox button.

Hi @Seller_18gAe7rYeILXF

Thanks for the post. I located and reviewed the case you opened on this issue and the team is still working on it.

I wanted to provide you with some information and resources on the Feature Offer. In order to be considered and eligible for Feature Offer, you need to enroll in the Professional Selling Plan. However it does not guarantee that you will have be given the Feature Offer.

We feature offers with an Add to Cart button when an offer meets our high standards for Quality Price, Reliable delivery option, and Seller who offers good customer service.

Thanks in advance for your patience.

We think 3 things could be happening:

1. Amazon's price spidering algorithm thinks it found the same products being sold online by Walmart, Home Depot or any other online retailer that the algorithm spiders prices from. If the price outside Amazon is lower than on Amazon, then Amazon might remove the BuyBox (Featured Offer), which causes a huge reduction in sales as many buyers think the product is not available and go away. And, although we don't have proof, we think that the algorithm is sometimes removing the BuyBox when the price outside Amazon is the same or greater than on Amazon, but not by much.

2. Amazon Retail (also called 1P) might be suppressing the sales of certain products or brand of products, when they think they might get more profit by selling other products or brands that they either own or support or just provide better profits for them. We have no proof of this but we have had similar issues of getting the BuyBox removed on certain products and our only suspicion was that Amazon Retail was doing this on purpose to depress our sales and improve sales of other similar products that give them better profits.

3. Amazon might be removing the BuyBox and suppressing FBM listings (Fulfilled by Merchant) to give preference to similar products or brands that offer FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) listings.

We would recommend you send to FBA at least 1 or 2 units to each SKU, to see if that helps you regain the BuyBox.
