Hello,
I have got a product with EAN on it. I have verified with GS1 and the EAN definitely belongs to us.
Unfortunately, someone has used this EAN to list a completely wrong product.
Is there anyone who faced the same problem and can suggest how to proceed?

Happens all the time, sadly.
You need to try and convince Seller Support that yours is correct and the other is not. They won't understand the issue and depends on how much fight you have in you, it might be easier to use another number that has not been fraudulently used by someone else, if you have any spare.
I do see the issue that the product already has an EAN on it. You may have to over label it.
It should be very easy to sort out but this is Amazon.
You have to contact Seller Support with your GS1 certificate proving you own the barcodes, and they will issue a warning to the other seller, giving them 30 days to give proof that they own the barcode. When they can't provide this, they can delete their listing.
I am not 100% sure, but I believe you must go through the brand registry for this to work, meaning you must have a brand registered on Amazon.
Hey @Seller_76AUwmqvSyRIM and @Seller_zKEt2RiaID5EU, thank you for your responses.
@Seller_tSvI5nTJq2GIn, when you reach out to seller support, make sure to include your GS1 certificate along with actual photos of your product displaying the correct EAN.
This will help to demonstrate that the EAN listed in the Amazon catalogue for a different product isn't accurate. Make sure to explain the issue thoroughly for better clarity.
Best regards, Ezra
