New to Selling Services on Amazon? Get Your Account Set Up!
Hey there, new Amazon sellers!
If you're just getting started with offering services on the platform, I wanted to share some important info on the initial account setup process. The seller help page has all the details, so I've highlighted the key steps:
First, you'll need to complete your account setup before creating any service offers. This includes:
- Reviewing the status of technician background checks
- Entering information about your service locations and availability
- Adding, editing, or removing service technicians
- Ensuring you have the required business licenses and insurance
You'll also want to double check your account info, including:
- Seller information, business address, and payment details
- Notification preferences to stay on top of important updates
- Login settings to manage your account access
Once your setup is complete, be sure to explore the services available to you as a seller, like the Buyer-Seller Messaging tool and performance tracking.
As a new seller, taking the time to properly set up your account will really pay off. Let me know if you have any other questions - I'm here to help our community of new sellers succeed on Amazon!

Trying to set up new account. They have all of info...etc. But keep saying card not valid when I try to list. I have been chatting with support 40 mins at a time. All says active in seller account info.

ALSO, not clear what I am able to sell anyway. There is no support at all.

Hi, Josh.
I had contacted Amazon over a year ago about selling my service on the platform - I have a comprehensive (IMO) business plan but was told they did not offer services.
For kicks I Googled "Amazon Home Services" this evening and found they are running the program pretty much how I wanted to set up my store (I am branded).
Regardless, it says applications are currently not being accepted - I would very much like to offer my assembly services. Could you point me in the direction of who I could talk to?
Any information would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
