Purchasing Assets from Another Seller Account

Hello @Quincy_Amazon

Do you know how I can properly transfer all assets from an existing seller account into mine? The assets I'm purchasing from this business include all trademarks, Amazon listings, inventory, etc..

Case log 14210446291 hasn't given me clear responses.

How can I the benefits of sales history, brand registry, ppc ad history?

Thanks for your help.

Seller accounts are not transferable. There will be no sales history, etc transferring to you.

If the other account had any problems and you have purchased the inventory, you will almost certainly have also purchased those problems.

I know of someone who "purchased" an Amazon account (you are not supposed to do that), and approached me to audit the account.

The account had around 800 units of stranded inventory due to a dangerous goods product being sent to FBA. The person did not know this and lost 1000s. The "seller" of the account never responded to this person.

Be careful with this.

As both @Seller_Hi7wbO2Kbo6bland @Seller_vSOOwekJLU6c0have noted there are definite issues with what you are trying to do.

Frankly, in my opinion, I don't think either pointed out the BIGGEST risk.

You are (at best) buying inventory ONLY and not the account itself.

That means that you will have how much money tied up? Hundreds? Thousands? Tens of thousands?

And guess what--

You have NO INVOICES.

NO chain of custody to prove authenticity.

NO letter of authorization allowing YOU to sell any of the brand name items involved.

One IP complaint and all the money and inventory is going to be confiscated by AMAZON.

Is it really worth the risk to you?
