Order Not Reflected in Seller Account

I received a direct email from a customer who placed an order on Amazon and provided the order details, including the order number. However, when I checked my seller account, the order does not appear in the system, and I have not received any notification from Amazon regarding this order.

Could you please assist in verifying this order and let me know how to proceed?

As @Seller_ZJhFeE3tNKzfh. It could be that the buyer doesn't understand that there may be more than 1 seller for an item on Amazon and think they ordered from you (maybe you had the buy box at the time). Just direct them to their Amazon Orders page and to contact the correct seller from there.

If you are selling FBM the other thing to do is extend the timeframe you are searching as it defaults as 7 days.

The Amazon system uses the date that the order is placed in the basket as the order date not the date of payment (dont ask me why) so if the buyer has had it in their basket for some time it can be filtered out of what is displayed. We have had it happen to us on several occasions. Fortunately the way we work still flagged them up.

What should I do when a buyer contacts me, but I did not get a Sold, Ship Now email?

You should only ship orders that you can verify in Manage Orders. All orders listed as Unshipped in your seller account can and should be shipped promptly in accordance with Amazon policies.
