Amazons latest Trick to prevent Third party sellers from selling popular products.
We sell lots of Genuine Philips parts on Amazon and recently had to file documents and evidence to be able to continue to sell these products due to Philips now supplying Transparency codes. We fully support this as it guarantees the customer receive a genuine part.
The issue with Amazon is it is near impossible to upload the data, we have been collecting the image files however there is nowhere to add this if you use Click and drop. It seems to be another con by Amazon to keep third party sellers out of the buy box. All we can do if feed this information back to the westminster lobby group whom can add this as another unfair process.

we complained about this issue before
the process of entering transparency codes is not compatible with click&drop, amazon bulk buy shipping, amazon shipping.
it seems the only way it can be done - is to use amazon buy shipping one item at a time.
this is not acceptable and is unworkable for us and many sellers.
I did open a dialogue previously with seller support and in turn amazon shipping support and also with the leadership team - but in each case they just reminded us of our responsibilities in recording the transparency number on each order but didnt not appreciate the related issues.

Absolutely do that... if sellers have issues with how Amazon may not be treating third party sellers equally to Amazon retail, and we all see it every day, then they absolutely must follow the link on the home page and raise it as a formal complaint. It may take a little time to do, but if you dont do it now, you may have to deal with this crap for the entire life of your business...

It would be worth looking at the new independent complaints process here which has been implemented as a result of the CMA findings - It will not (rather conveniently) allow me to add the link but you can see the details here: https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/gp/tech-notifications.html?ref=nswg_scgw_G2SAGBHLNL5S5RFW_en_GB_0_nslp&id=G2SAGBHLNL5S5RFW&communicationDeliveryId=19dbb8fe-3c2e-458b-8d2c-07d4919ead8f&mons_redirect=stck_reroute
I would think this goes against their commitment to allow sellers to use their own delivery services.
