Missing Funds Amazon Know Where They Are But Won't Help

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to you regarding an ongoing issue that has caused me significant stress and financial hardship, and I urgently require your assistance to resolve this matter. I have sent this matter three times to Seller Support but no one ever replies.

I have been trading on Amazon for over three years and have consistently used the same bank account for all transactions without any issues. However, in April 2024, four payments were sent to the wrong bank account. While the business name, account number, and the first four digits of the sort code were correct, the last two digits of the sort code were incorrect, resulting in the funds being sent to the wrong bank, Caixabank. These are a Spanish Bank and this sort code is for the branch based in London, United Kingdom.

Of the four payments, one bounced back without any intervention from yourself, or I. I was hoping this would be the case with the other three payments, alas not. Only one other has been successfully returned after Amazon contacted Caixabank directly. However, the remaining two payments, totalling over £8,000, have not been returned. Amazon have provided me with BACs information and advised me to contact Caixabank directly, which I did. Unfortunately, Caixabank has stated that they are unable to assist me as I am neither their customer nor the sender of the money, and they referred me back to Amazon.

I have contacted Amazon on at least two occasions in the last two months regarding this matter and have yet to receive a response. This lack of communication is deeply frustrating, especially given the severity of the situation. I am as previously stated over £8,000 out of pocket, with no clear path forward.

Given the circumstances, I kindly urge you to escalate this matter and assist me in recovering these funds. As a long-term customer with a history of correct bank transactions, I am requesting Amazon to engage with Caixabank on my behalf, just as was done for the second payment that was successfully recovered. This situation has caused me undue stress, and the prolonged delay in resolution is unacceptable.

I would greatly appreciate your attention to this issue and your cooperation in helping me recover the misplaced funds.
