Please Amazon Brand registery developers read this
Dear Amazon Band registery developers,
I am having trouble registering my brand. I received the following message "This decision was made since we could not verify the registered business name and business identifier (e.g. tax ID number or business ID number) provided by you at the time of submitting the Brand Registry enrollment form."
Believe me I have done my best to provide you with all the information you needed and much more. Seems like there is something wrong with your automated system , and it requires an intervention from one of your moderators or developers. It is a nightmare registering my brand with Amazon. I am 100% sure that it is not my fault.
If you kindly please respond ASAP because last time, I submitted you an appeal and nobody took care of it until i contacted the CEO who kindly allocated Mr. Alberto who reset my application to start over.
Please, Please I do not want to go through this process again. Mr. Andy Jassy is really kind man who personally intervened and I do not want to contact him again. I do not want to be annoying to him.

Here are some of the most common issues with BR.
Go over everything with a magnifying glass looking for a missing 'period' or 'comma'.
Is there a different capitalization, abbreviation, spelling, or, even an extra spa ce?
Is your Brand registered (or applied for) with the USPTO?
Amazon is admitting applicants under CERTAIN conditions when only filed but not granted.

“To be eligible for Amazon Brand Registry, your brand must have an active registered trademark in each country where you wish to enroll or have a pending trademark application filed through Amazon IP Accelerator. Brand Registry is also accepting brands that have a trademark pending registration in a subset of trademark offices.”
Additionally, IF you ever get an actual TM (if you don’t now) When Amazon says something must match they mean EXACTLY!
That means Street is not ST.
Jim is not James.

What is the EXACT BRAND (as GRANTED) on the USPTO site? Is it the EXACT same as the Brand on the Amazon account AND the brand on the packaging?
What is the name of the Owner (REGISTRANT) on the USPTO site? Is it the EXACT same name as the owner of the Amazon account?
If it is NOT exactly the same you will need to show some proof that the two are the same. As I recall, I had to submit my LLC State Registration with MY name as the owner of the LLC since my Amazon account is under a different LLC name.
The OWNER of the Brand is the one that MUST enter into the Brand Registry agreement. If the owner is not the same as the Amazon seller the seller will have to be granted access by the owner AFTER REGISTRATION.

My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and I would be happy to assist with your Brand Registry application/appeal.
For reference, the case ID you provided here is an appeal. After your initial appeal, you closed the case using the close this case button 2 hours after submission. This would be the root cause to why you have not yet received a response. For additional info, a typical Brand Registry enrollment takes 10 days to review unless additional information is needed (like your case) which can extend the application review period. You can find this in the Brand Registry application process help page.
Unfortunately, I have found discrepancies in the case ID you provided. The business registration number or the tax ID number you provided in your initial appeal does not match Business ID number assigned to the LLC attachment you provided on 6/13/24.
You should also be aware that Community Managers (Mods as you referred to us in your case) have access to review cases, but they are not directed to us. We are in the Amazon Seller Forums so to reach us, you do need to start a discussion like you have done here. Mentioning us or tagging us in your case will not route your case to us.
Here is the path forward. I will be submitting a request to have this appeal closed, but know that this request may be rejected because when a Brand Registry application is marked as "Ineligible," the only way to move forward in the process is to successfully appeal that decision. Asking for the case to be closed 17 times in 15 minutes is not a best practice.
I will provide you an update as soon as I have a response from my request to close the case. Typically, this can take up to 7 days to complete.
