How do I remove other marketplaces?

Hello everyone,

We’re trying to only sell in the UK, how do we remove all the other European and American marketplaces from our seller account?

Thank you!

Maisha

Unfortunately, you can’t actually remove other marketplaces from your Amazon seller account.

All you can do like BOB1 mentioned is just put them on Holiday mode.

If you do get any new marketplaces added to your account, be sure to also put them on holiday mode too.

I have a similar problem.

I received and order from Amazon.it which was a surprise as i hadn’t actually enrolled for any Pan European market places as i only wanted to sell in the UK.

I am getting nowhere with seller support but was told to put all counties on holiday mode!
This sounded a good plan but then support told me that as i use FBA setting holiday mode wouldn’t stop orders being placed.

So i have two problems:

1 An order that can’t be fulfilled, and i am unable to contact the customer as its a pending FBA order and their details aren’t being shown.

2 How to opt out of the Pan European market so as to not receive any more orders.

I am sure i will be penalised by Amazon if i don’t get this sorted.

The big question is how did my listings get enrolled in the first place!!!

Of course to keep selling in these markets i think i would need to be vat registered for each one.

Hi Neil, I have tried closing a single listing on the German site (just to see if it did it without complication) but it also did the same with the UK listing, and i then got a message about stock removal !
I have received another instruction from seller support, so will digest this and see if its what you are recommending.
Many thanks

This really is getting complicated!

All stock in the Uk and as far as i can see all countries show inactive, but when i go to an Amazon site like Amazon.fr and search for Coffee Lusso coffee filters they are there in all their glory!

I went to the link you kindly put on and it was only for an information site, should i click through from the ‘get started’ button?

It could be i am looking in the wrong place for ‘connections’ we found a page with each of the countries listed with active or inactive against each so ticked inactive!

I’m actually opening up the relevant Amazon site in the browser as though i am a customer.

That is me but very old from when we first sold on Amazon about 4 years ago.

All listings are active on the UK site with the UK as the home market.

My partner made the listings inactive on the German site so maybe we should do the same for the others?

Just seems to be difficult to navigate to a page that simply said yes or no to selling in Europe.

I appreciate your effort in trying to sort this out.

The annoying thing is neither my partner nor myself has enrolled us for the Pan European market so not sure how this has happened.
