We are authorized dealer - But we cannot get ungated

Hi,

I am trying to get ungated for a brand but my application gets denied every time I try. We have an invoice that meets all of those requirements:

  • Dated on or after Oct 18, 2024 (within 180 days)
  • Includes your name and address, matching the information in your selling account
  • Include the name and address of the manufacturer or distributor
  • Show the combined purchase of at least 200 units.
  • Please note that, we may verify your submitted documentation by contacting product vendors you identify in your application.
  • Is not a retail order confirmation or invoice.

At first try(case ID: 17574861391), they told me that:

-- You have provided an invoice that the supplier did not fulfill. Work with your supplier to get an invoice that they have fulfilled.

I don't know how they determined that the order was not fulfilled, but it was fulfilled. So, I sent them the tracking ID, and the dispatcher advice document where they can find all shipping information and the tracking ID. Right after 30 mins, I got a rejection reply: "We have reviewed the documentation you provided and determined that you are not eligible to sell THULE products. We evaluated the information you provided, but it did not pass our review."

I tried to apply again(case ID: 17585586081), it got denied again with that message: "We have reviewed the documentation you provided and determined that you are not eligible to sell THULE products. We evaluated the information you provided, but it did not pass our review."

We are an authorized dealer of the brand and the invoice meets all requirements.

Can a mod help us to escalate this, please?

I just had the same issue with ASUS. I even showed a picture of a picking ticket with the just arrived products in the background. Got denied in a half hour. I have a SIGNIFICANT amount of money tied up in the products and I need to start selling them so I can pay off my credit card.

Hi @Seller_U9hYlORduPh5f,

I wanted to follow up with you regarding your concerns about your brand application. Generally, I have seen sellers submit one brand selling application and then get feedback from the review team if more information is required.

Once rejected the team requests new or additional documentation on that same application. Continuing to reapply for the same brand on new cases may be the reason why you are receiving the auto-rejection notifications.

I did want to provide the link for Amazon's Responsible Sourcing documentation request requirements. Listed below are the requirements for sourcing documentation request:

Copies of invoices, receipts or other similar documents that demonstrate where your products are produced or manufactured.

These documents:

• Should reflect the sales volume of your product across all Amazon marketplaces in the last 365 days

• Should demonstrate your product’s full supply chain

• Should include contact information for the supplier(s) and the original manufacturer. We may contact suppliers or manufacturers to verify the documents

Your documents should be able to trace your products to the original manufacturer even if you did not purchase them directly from the original manufacturer. This may require requesting additional invoices or supply chain documentation from your supplier if you are not sourcing directly from the manufacturer.

You may remove pricing information, but the rest of the document must be visible to enable adequate review of the documents you provide. For ease of our review, you may highlight or circle the ASIN(s) under review.

A letter of authorization (LOA) can also be a valuable addition to your appeal in these situations if you’re sourcing directly from the brand or their manufacturer.

I also wanted to share our Seller University resource that addresses Invoice requirements for when you apply to sell.

Regards,

- Manny

Hi Manny,

As mentioned earlier, I believe the invoice I provided meets all the requirements outlined both in your message and mine. I’ve also included our account manager’s email address, which uses the brand’s official domain.

Could you please review case 17574861391 and let me know if you can share any further details? Also, would you be able to escalate this case if necessary?

I’ve requested a Letter of Authorization from the brand, but I’m not sure if they’ll provide one. I’m still waiting to hear back. Some brands are often unwilling or uninterested in assisting with these types of cases.

Thanks.

We recently obtained an official letter of authorization from the brand confirming that we’re authorized to sell on Amazon. I resubmitted our ungating application with both the compliant invoice and the authorization letter, but it was immediately denied again. We’re completely stuck at this point and really need help from a moderator to escalate the issue.

The latest case ID, where we submitted the authorization letter, is: 17648359481.
