Brand Registry Falsely and Repeatedly Claiming I am not Brand Owner/Admin when I am

Hello community,

This is in Regards to Brand Registry Support:

I really don't understand why Brand Registry support does this but from time to time, they falsely claim I'm not the brand owner when I am.

Example:

I log into Brand Registry with my login and email account.

I put in a case regarding an erroneous violation on our selling account (attached to our brand registry).

I request Brand Registry takes a look at it and remove the violation because we own the brand.

Their reply is, "We suspect that your listing for this product infringes on the intellectual property of others due to text. The product detail page for these products uses the rights of another rights owner: -----. " - Case ID: 15280564271

However, I am the owner, logged into brand registry, and creating a case inside of the brand registry dashboard. It's crazy!

In the past I challenge this, and this time I will, and they say, "oh, we are sorry. Our mistake." But, this has repeated and is very frustrating.

Has anyone else been frustrated by these responses coming out of Brand Registry? It's a pattern for us. I'm not sure if it is for others. Thanks!

Hello @Seller_X0u8wgVb1f902,

Dougal from the Community Manager Team here and I might be able to assist with why you may be getting these. Are their other Administrators for this brand? I have come across instances when companies take a decentralized approach based on region and have an admin for the US, EU, and JP stores for example and sometimes they report IP infringement on the entire ASIN instead of specific offers and this can trigger a suspected IP violation that you are describing here. I cannot validate that this is the case you are dealing with, rather, I am providing a potential scenario to further investigate.

My recommendation is to appeal the Account health violations with the supporting documentation that you are the Brand Owner to clear out the suspected violations.

Hope this helps, but am certainly open to continue helping to troubleshoot with you.

Best, Dougal

Thank you for replying to my post earlier. Here is the original post. The problem persists. Listings are down because of "trademark infringement" yet I own the brand.

With further research, it appears the issue is relating to the fact that we reference on of our other brands in the product of another brand of ours. So, the system is triggered by what is perceived as a misuse. However, we own both brand names. They want us to write a 'letter of authorization' to the third party, but there's only one party here so I'm not sure what to do.
