Brand Authorization
Hi
I have GTIN Exemption and unable to list as it asks for Brand Authorization.
As soon as I apply for Brand Authorization it is declined and below is their response
"Hello from Amazon Selling Partner Support,
We understand that you are facing 5461 error when listing 'Salahuddin's eKingdom' branded products and we are happy to assist you today.
We are sorry that you are facing this error, understand your frustration and how important it is for your business. Please note that we will check this issue for you and We apologize for the inconvenience caused.
We have identified that you haven’t provided a product ID (e.g. UPC, European Article Number (EAN), International Standard Book Number (ISBN)) for your product. For most categories, you are required to provide a unique product ID to create a listing. To learn more about product IDs, please visit the below help page
https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/help/hub/reference/G200211450
During our investigation, we have identified that for the category and the brand name, no Global Trade Item Number exemption was applied to your account. If your product does not have a product ID, you might be eligible to request a Global Trade Item Number exemption. However, please note that Global Trade Item Number exemptions are not available for brands that already provide a GS1-approved barcode on their products. It's been declined multiple times. Please help me to sort this out.

Hello @Seller_SMYAGQlF3MCeQ,
Thank you for getting in touch.
Regarding your inquiry, as outlined on help page:List products that do not have a Global Trade Item Number (UPC, European Article Number (EAN), JAN or International Standard Book Number (ISBN))
During the application process, you may encounter the following errors. Go to each of the following pages for more information on the error and how to resolve it: Error 5461
You can see this information on the Request a Global Trade Item Number exemption section.
If you've come across Error 5461, it likely indicates that you haven't been authorized to create new ASINs for your brand.
However, you still have the option to request approval for creating new ASINs by demonstrating that they're authentic products for which no ASIN currently exists.
Regards, Ezra
