VAT establishment verification
Hello everyone,
My account has been deactivated for 3 months now due Amazon not able to verify that I am UK established. I have submitted different requested and necessary documents many timesto prove my UK establishment but nothing has changed yet with deactivation status. All funds and inventory had been withheld since then too.
Any advice or way out of this will be really appreciated.
Please @forum moderators @sarah, @Julia and others please help as I have recently been given an estimation of a preliminary VAT charges of roughly £17,000 which shouldn't be because I am UK established and a small business that has never reached the threshold of registering for a VAT.

Given you are operating out of a virtual office address, that may be the issue as a number of posts have cropped up with a similar issue, again, all operating from a virtual office address.
That address is clearly not somewhere that business decisions are being made which is part of what amazon look for. Where are you located? If you are outside the UK - you should look up NETP as the VAT threshold does not exist. If you are storing stock in the UK via FBA - you need to be registered for VAT.

In addition to the correct advice in above post, a virtual address is indicative that you may not be actually resident in the UK,. Also, the mods will NOT see the tags, as not done correctly. You need to start typing their name and select from the dropdown so highlighted in blue.
