Does Image File Naming Affect Amazon SEO?

Hello everyone,

When uploading photos to Amazon, how should we do the file naming of the photos? Does it have an effect on the Amazon algorithm? Should we put hyphens between words for SEO when naming words?

If you are referring to product images it doesn't matter.

Amazon change the images themselves anyway (doing resizing) and they simply apply an alt text to the primary image that is the same as the product name.

You can add alt text to images in A+ Content however.
