Lost BuyBox All of The Sudden ( Megathread )
I'm getting nowhere with Seller Support (Live Chat & Phone), made a ticket asking for escalation, E-Mailed CEO's office and got a pretty rude reply, I'm at a total loss as to what to do. I have lost the buy box for ALL of my key products and best sellers, I am the brand owner, I am the only offer.
I am stunned at how little support there is from Amazon, I knew it was bad but I had no idea it was THIS BAD. Absolutely no transparency what-so-ever, nothing on performance notifications, account health is perfect, no violations, I am enrolled on the new Account Health Assurance scheme (which gave me peace of mind for all of 3 days).
With the CEO's office giving me the cold shoulder, seller support sending me links to 'Seller University', spending in excess of 10 hours trying almost everything on my account blindly, I'm at a complete loss sitting here with next to no sales. So my last resort is this... a mega thread... I'm hoping with enough people complaining about the issue, Amazon MAY acknowledge this problem as a bug/glitch.

What about your prices off-Amazon? Are they lower?

It is the time of the year Where Amazon tweaks in their system with targeted sellers and products so that they can Push FBA products,
algorithm or no, they control these, karma will catch them as you cant go corrupt for too long .

Seller support is there to support Amazon, not the seller.

They took my Buy Box off because of my ODR over 1%... 3 orders out of 270, imagine that...
I think amazon wants me to just refund the client the second a message is sent.

Every year they do this to us around christmas, black friday, prime day etc, on the worst time of the year, for all MFN offers, no explanation, odr is well below the 1%, feedback is good, delivery etc all good.
Meanwhile when we sent to FBA they lost 100k+ worth of stuff, reimbursed us 50k, accepted returns 1 year+ without box or anything destroyed $3k+ high end products. We don't trust FBA anymore, and get whipped during peak seasons without any explanation. Customer service is clueless and unable to do anything other than to say "Several factors influence Buy Box placement, including:
1. Price: While you mentioned being $50 cheaper, price is just one of many factors considered.
2. Fulfillment method: FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) offers may have an advantage over merchant-fulfilled offers.
3. Shipping speed: Fast delivery times are important, but other factors are also considered.
4. Seller performance metrics: Your Order Defect Rate, Cancellation Rate, and Late Shipment Rate play a crucial role in determining Buy Box eligibility and placement.
5. Stock availability: Ensuring you have sufficient inventory can impact your Buy Box eligibility.
6. Customer experience: Factors like customer feedback and ratings are taken into account.
7. Prime eligibility: Prime offers may have an advantage for Prime customers.
The Buy Box algorithm considers these factors collectively, and the weight given to each can vary. It's possible that while you're competitive on price and shipping speed, other factors might be influencing the Buy Box placement for this particular ASIN.
To improve your chances of winning the Buy Box:
1. Maintain excellent seller performance metrics.
2. Ensure competitive pricing.
3. Keep sufficient inventory levels.
4. Provide fast and reliable shipping.
5. Consider using FBA if you're not already doing so."

I lost my Buy Box in July, it has never come back. No help from anyone. Sales are down 70% over last year. They just don't care. They will always be making money from someone else.
