I only want to sell some books but very confused with prices - Not a business

I’ve created an account just to sell a book I’ve written and someone has brought a copy. I am selling them at £8 So I put price as £9.50 to allow for the postage/charges. However, the charges to sell this one book are £2.32 and now I’ve got to post it, so this definitely isn’t working for me.
I’ve looked at FBA and thought it’s for me, however, I’m really confused as to what the charges will be and if I have to pack them up.
I have looked on Amazon for all the information, but it’s confusing as I’m not a business.
I was going to send 60 copies to Amazon, and I pay about £5 per month for them to post - is this right??

Look at the rate card:https://m.media-amazon.com/images/G/02/FBA_Files/2018/FBA_UK_Rate_Card_April2018.CB1198675309.pdf?ld=ELUKFBA-sellercentral-europe.amazon.com_ELAUSOA-lego-ui-jp-pdx.pdx.proxy.amazon.com_105099_T1

Look at the 1st chart & locate size & weight of your book, that gives you the FBA fee per book sold.
Add to this your selling fee.
You will also have monthly & long term storage fees which can add considerably to the cost so I would be sure that you expect them to sell before sending 60 in.
Amazon will send your book in a box so you pack in the best way you think to avoid damage.

You have produced books with the specific intention of selling them for profit, of course you are a business!

What size is your book? If it’s not huge then Small and Light might be a good choice for you, 80p plus VAT on anything priced under £9.
