VAT provided by Amazon

My account has been deactivated because I no longer have a valid VAT they originally provided. My goal here is to re-activate my account only so I can close it for good in the EU/UK. Can amazon provide me with a new VAT number so I can upload and eventually close this account? I haven't sold in this marketplace in several years.
