Issue with transparency/serial numbers

Someone please help. I am buying Genuine OEM products from a licensed distributor (approved by Amazon). When I go to ship an order, I select the "buy shipping label" and enter the serial number for my product into the provided section. No prefix (like SN) just the number. After purchasing shipping, I go back to look at the order and it still says "serial number required". Amazon keeps sending me emails about invalid numbers (which I can assure they are NOT) and today they said that they are going to remove my listing. When I contact support no one seems to have any idea how to help me and they end up sending me a link to read that I have read 100 times. That link is not helpful as I am doing exactly what it says to do. I even got a rep on the phone with me during one of my shipping sessions and I told him step by step what I was doing. He said I was doing it correctly. Yet, sure enough, when you go to the shipped items they still all say "requires serial number". Can anyone please advise as to what I need to do?

Looking at the help page (Transparency serial number requirements), I noticed something that might explain what's happening.

Under the "Serial number examples" section, it mentions there's an important technical distinction between Transparency codes and serial numbers. Serial numbers should be 7-20 characters long, while Transparency codes are longer (26-38 characters) and start with specific prefixes like AZ: or ZA:.

What caught my eye is a note at the bottom of the page that says serial numbers can only be uploaded in two specific ways: through the Order Details page (which you've tried) or using the Shipping Confirmation file. Since the Order Details method isn't working for you, perhaps trying the file upload method might help:

From the Orders tab, look for "Upload Order Related Files" and download the template. Once you've filled it out with your serial numbers, you can upload it back through the same page.
