Recovery of refunded amount or goods claimed due to delayed delivery

We understand that delivery is sometimes delayed. If a refund for an Amazon Mall Transaction Protection claim has been issued and the item was delivered within 30 days of the refund date, we will now send an email on your behalf to the buyer asking them to return the item or cancel the issued refund. You do not need to appeal the claim or send a separate message to the buyer, but keep an eye on the return request and our emails for updates on the decision. To avoid claims, make sure you always follow Amazon's delivery and return policies, including timely delivery and providing a valid tracking code.

These orders were delivered within 30 days of the refund, which is in line with Amazon's policy, and I'm not sure if Amazon follows this policy for contacting buyers?

I've had a couple of orders where this was the case and Amazon did contact the buyer and the buyer was willing to keep the item and the money was refunded to me afterward.

Now these orders don't seem to be protected by this policy anymore. So I am pleading with the Amazon team to give an accurate answer. Is the new policy still in place? If so please follow the new policy .

If it doesn't exist please issue a press release to announce everyone.
