Cheap places to buy sellotape

Hi there

I am new seller on Amazon. I am currently buying sellotape from high street shops, however, they are turning out to be expensive. I use quite a lot of sellotape* on a daily basis and I was wondering if there any wholesale stores/websites where I can buy wholesale lots for cheaper.

*clear tape, brown packaging tape and fragile tape.

I always find eBay the best place. I do buy the better 3M Scotch tape as the quality is far superior compared to alot of the cheap brands.

Pound shops, B&M… Clear 25mm tape is usually fine. Parcel tape quality can be a bit hit or miss.

It often works out about the same price as buying from a packaging supplier (e.g. Kite, Rajapack etc) or a wholesaler like Bookers.

For narrow clear tape I use Wilko. It’s the best I’ve found in terms of quality and price.

Unfortunately it seems to have been out of stock for quite a while now so recently I’ve had to use stuff from one of the pound shops (One Below I think) which is poor quality and more expensive per metre. I’m hoping the Wilko stuff returns soon.

For parcel tape I use the eBay branded stuff. Only because I get a ‘free’ voucher for it every month. It’s reasonably good quality, certainly very sticky, and I have no complaints about the price. I try not to use it on Amazon orders though as I’m sure I’d get complaints when their parcel arrives covered in eBay tape.

It will pay you in the end to buy something like Scotch 3m whether sellotape or packaging tape
