Cabury Trademalr Amazon causing problems

Amazon have informed us that we can no longer sell Cadbury products as it is a trademarked name

As a retailer we purchase products directly from Cadbury with the understanding we can retail them to the customer

Amazon is insisting we remove all mention of Cadbury

Eg Product Cadbury Eclairs, can now only be called Eclairs s ?

I have told Amazon this is plain ridiculous and not how retail works

They are not interested , I have contacted Cadbuty directly about this

Have you got an example ASIN?

Though I'm going to hazard a guess of the issue based on this listing.

You appear to brand all your listings 'Treasure Island Sweets'

And that's your issue - if you are using the brand Cadbury on a listing that is actually Branded Treasure Island Sweets, well amazon will rightly believe you are abusing the Cadbury trade mark.

If the issue listing is branded Cadbury and is linked to a valid Cadbury barcode - then there's something different going on.

Cadbury was trademarked decades before psychoticrobot.com existed. It's just the worsening insanity of the platform, and it's telling us all something we should take note of, reduce your dependence upon on it asap. It's akin to Booker Group telling all of their clients (in your case let's say a physical store named Treasure Island Sweets) that if they purchase Eclairs wholesale and then retail via an in-house shelf talker with Cadbury's branding upon it, they are breaching IP laws. Am I missing something ?

I had a problem when I was selling Halo 5. I got told I needed to remove the word Halo.

So I changed the title to 5. Then I got told only the brand owner could change the listing.
