Application to sell in toys help

hello,

I Ordered straight from LEGO Group themselves and have received my order
so I can apply to the toys category however amazon have responded with this:

"We have reviewed the documentation you provided and determined that it does not meet the following reasons:

Invoice:

  • You have provided an unacceptable document. Please provide the invoice reflecting the itemized list of goods purchased and the terms of sale.

Product Packaging Picture:
– The product shown in the product packaging photos cannot be found on the invoice that you submitted. Please provide an invoice showing purchase of the same product shown in your product packaging photos."

I don’t understand as I’ve sent them the PDF Invoice Lego sent me and I’ve taken photos of the Lego toy I bought, yes I did buy 10 of them.

please help

Does your address details on the invoice match your amazon account details exactly
ie my toys v my toys ltd ?

Edit - do you also have an LOA from lego stating you can sell on Amazon?

You have fallen into one of the commonest misconceptions here on Amazon, ie that you can buy toys at retail outlets and sell them in new condition. You can’t, and the reason you can’t is because you can’t provide the necessary documentation that Amazon require. We have been toy sellers for close to 40 years and on Amazon for 7 years so have a bit of experience in this field.

The toy category is one of the most difficult to gain approval to sell so you have to be fully aware of the requirements you have to fulfill and the obligations you have to meet. I was at Legoland in Bilund two years ago and that was the exact same “receipt” that I got from them when I bought the grandkids some sets (only mine was in Danish).

I regret to say that you have wasted your money. This item is currently on sale on Amazon (Prime) @ £7.95 so whilst there might have been a small profit in each one for you (had they been bought trade), even if you were approved to sell in the toy category, the best condition you could sell them in would be Used - Like New, and even that isn’t guaranteed to be acceptable. You might be better off trying another platform with this particular item.

There was another seller posted on here today who has been refused approval in toy category. He sent all correct documents but amazon said no and said they wouldn’t give a reason.
Its possible that new sellers are currently gated from toy category

Well, according to what Amazon have asked for, assuming this is correct, there’s no mention of LOAs or receipt-vs-invoice etc.

I would focus on giving Amazon what they ask for first, then see what happens.

By process of elimination, the product is right and matches the document, therefore the issue is the document, The fact it says Receipt on the top and they ask for an invoice will reject it instantly

your invoice should mention following

  1. Brand name
  2. Product ame
  3. Product UPC
  4. Terms of Sale (Cash/ Credit)
  5. Photos of product from all sides, preferablly holding in your hand.
  6. Product invoice quantity should be atleast 10units
  7. Invoice should be WHOLESALE/ DISTRIBUTOR (Not from LEGO Online Retail website Invoice)

Is that the online store then or did you literally place a huge wholseale corporate account type order?

If it was the onine store then you will struggle using that invoice.

When I last spoke to Lego (a fair few years ago to be fair) their MOQ was £5k per order.
